Composed of 100% rayon, the robe features rich crimson hues that evoke nature's refreshing beauty. Crafted using traditional Indonesian batik techniques, the cross-over design offers ample sleeves and a wide tie belt for comfortable leisure. This handpainted batik robe is a truly unique piece, as sunlight, water, dye, and temperature all contribute to the final look - ensuring that each robe is a distinct creation, made especially for the wearer.

The robe measures 52.0" in length (from high-point shoulder), 48.0" in bust/chest, and 27.0" in sleeve length (center neck to cuff). The accompanying belt is 59.0" long and 2.0" wide. This one-size-fits-most design should be hand washed separately in cold water and dried in the shade to preserve the handcrafted batik art and its variable colors and pattern placement.

About the Artist: Nyoman Nadri, a mother of three, was born on May 2, 1965. She is an accomplished artisan, skilled in creating a variety of textile arts, including bed covers, pillowcases, sarongs, and shawls. Nadri began her career in embroidery in 1987, taking orders for pillowcases and bags from 1989 to 1992. In 1995, she learned the art of batik from a friend and has since worked tirelessly to refine her techniques and expand her workshop.

A tremendously creative woman, Nadri is inspired by the needs of her customers, who come to her with specific requests for motifs, bed cover sizes, and sarong designs. Her hope is that through NOVICA's promotion, her works will gain wider recognition, allowing her to continue her artistic journey and provide loving care for her children.
