At NOVICA, we promote handmade products and ensure rigorous quality checks at every stage. Sarjana employs local artisans, including two specialists in the traditional Jawa technique, supporting the craft while providing for his family, including two children born 15 years apart.

Passing Down Tradition
Wayan learned the art of silversmithing from his uncle and sought the knowledge of Javanese artisans to master traditional Indonesian handmade chains—a skill passed down through generations.

Looking Forward
Sarjana's workshop has expanded steadily, with aspirations to continue growing and provide more employment opportunities for skilled silversmiths in the future. His extensive jewelry collection reflects both classic and contemporary styles.

Sales from NOVICA constitute nearly all of Sarjana's workshop income, benefiting his family and supporting his five assistants. He remains devoted to preserving the tradition of Indonesian silverwork and hopes to impart this craft to his children one day.
