Nareerat Tansuwansophon, affectionately known as Lek, is the creative mind behind these exquisite pieces. Hailing from a Catholic family in Trang province, southern Thailand, Nareerat experienced loss when her mother passed away after giving birth to her. As the youngest of six children, with three brothers and two sisters, she grew up among merchants. Engagement with her local church was an integral part of her upbringing.

After graduating from grade nine in 1982, Nareerat moved to Bangkok where she majored in secretarial studies for three years at the Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus School. Following her education, she initially worked as a buyer for a foreign trading agency before transitioning to a marketing role in an enamel company in 1992.
