About the Artisan:
Meet Nyoman Rena, born on October 11 as the third child in a family of five. His journey began in the third year of elementary school when he first learned wood carving. His grandfather, a senior carver and architect of traditional Balinese buildings, played a pivotal role in nurturing Rena's abilities in both carving and jewelry-making. After completing elementary school in 1983, with encouragement from his father, Rena apprenticed with a notable silversmith in his village, where he spent Sundays honing his silver jewelry-making skills. Infusing his carving talents into silverwork, Rena aims to capture the interest of customers worldwide.
