About the Artist: My name is I Wayan Buana, and I was born in Sukawati, Bali in 1974. Growing up, I was surrounded by the rich culture and arts of my village, where many of the residents were skilled in wood carving, silversmithing, and clothing design. Despite our family's economic limitations, I worked after school to help pay for my siblings' education and support my parents.

I find joy in sports like badminton and often exercise near my home. The tranquil atmosphere and beautiful scenery of Bali have been a constant source of inspiration for me, and I'm grateful to be able to share my artistry with the world through NOVICA.
