About Our Artist:
My name is Nareerat Tansuwansophon, but you can call me Lek. I hail from a Catholic family in Trang province, Thailand's southern region. Unfortunately, I lost my mother shortly after birth and am the youngest of six siblings, with three brothers and two sisters. My family has always been involved in trade, and our home was conveniently located next to the church, where I participated in various activities. Just as my family believed in God, I hold the same faith close to my heart.

In 1982, I moved to Bangkok following my graduation from grade nine. I enrolled at the Convert of the Holy Infant Jesus School, majoring in secretarial studies for three years. After my studies, I gained employment as a buyer at a foreign trading agency. In 1992, an enamel company offered me a position in their marketing department, which I viewed as a promising opportunity. I worked there for three years until I decided to quit to get married.

Origami is a cherished hobby of mine, where I fold paper into various intricate designs. The year 1996 brought the joy of my first daughter, whom I named Ice. While expecting her, I devoted all my time to origami, which deepened my appreciation for art and enhanced my skills. After a rest period following her birth, I returned to work, continuing for another three years.

In 2000, I was blessed with adorable twin sons, H and OAT. Once again, I decided to leave my job, this time dedicating myself entirely to my children. About a year after moving to a new home, my journey as a mother unfolded further, filled with love, creativity, and inspiration drawn from my family life.

Through my artwork, I hope to capture the joys of life and share them with the world, embodying the spirit of happiness that NOVICA stands for.
