Godfred France's journey as an artisan began in his childhood when he crafted boats from discarded metal utensils to float on water. However, due to financial limitations, his parents were unable to support his education, forcing him to leave school and apprentice with his uncle, a woodcarver. This hands-on experience in woodcarving has enabled Godfred to provide for his four children. His passion for art not only sustains his family but also inspires him daily. With each carving, he envisions a brighter future for his children, fueling his motivation to create art each morning.
