Victor Dushie
Hello, I'm Victor Dushie, born and raised in Accra, surrounded by a community of woodcarvers and designers that sparked my interest in this craft. Under the mentorship of Sasu Kanu, I honed my skills through hands-on practice, particularly mastering the challenging process of sanding wood. After completing my training, I took on the responsibility of teaching others, ensuring the art continues to flourish. My work, primarily with locally sourced sese wood, draws inspiration from the Bible and other artisans. I take great joy in the design aspect of my craft, often collaborating with family during the finishing process.
