"My feelings of motherhood fill me with joy and drive me to ensure my children receive the best possible education and opportunities," says Desak Ketut Raitawati, affectionately known as Saktut. Originating from a humble background in Bali, where her parents worked as a farmer and market vendor, she took on responsibilities early. At 16, Saktut began working after school in a clothing store to alleviate her family’s financial struggles. The challenges she faced during her education motivated her to pursue work, and she eventually graduated from a local hospitality school.
