Born in Bali to humble beginnings—her father was a farmer and her mother sold fruits in the market—Saktut grew up in a simple environment with a strong work ethic. At 16, she began working after school to support her family, eventually graduating from hospitality school. After years spent learning from talented tailors and batik artists, she gained the confidence to create her own designs, empowering herself as an artisan.
