About the Artist: My name is Danish, and I come from the state of Uttar Pradesh. I belong to a family of weavers, and my father was a hardworking man who ensured that my siblings and I received the best education possible. Although our financial situation was not the best, this never deterred my father, and he continued to do what he does best - weaving.

After completing my education, I followed in my father's footsteps and helped him in his work. I learned from him, and together, we slowly started our own venture. Although we are the 5th generation of weavers, we had always worked under someone else's supervision. Finally, we mustered the courage to start on our own, and I am glad to say that we have received many accolades for our work from our customers. We are now able to send our products overseas, and people have started to recognize us.

One of the most important tasks for me is to ensure that all my weavers are given the respect and proper wages they deserve, so they do not suffer like my father did when he was working under other companies.
