Victor Dushie
Born in Accra, Victor Dushie grew up immersed in a community rich in wood carving and design. His passion for this art form ignited early in his life, thanks in part to his mentorship under Sasu Kanu, who taught him through hands-on experience. Victor mastered sanding techniques, which he identified as one of the principal challenges of woodworking. After completing his training, he passed on his knowledge by teaching two other aspiring artisans. His creations primarily utilize sese wood, which is readily available in local markets. Inspired by Biblical themes and other artists, he aims to uplift others while promoting handmade artistry.
